Lower cost of raw materials

Sodium batteries stand out due to their rich diversity of positive electrode materials and abundant domestic resources compared with lithium batteries,  resulting in lower costs.


Better low temperature performance

Sodium batteries can maintain around 80% of capacity in -20℃, while lithium batteries are generally lower.


More Safety

Sodium is more stable than lithium in terms of chemical property, and sodium batteries have better thermal stability with up to 260℃ initial self heating temperature


Sodium-ion Battery Application

  • E-bike: Sodium-ion batteries have lower costs, wider working temperature ranges, and higher safety. The energy density is 3 times of lead-acid batteries and the cost is much lower.

  • Low speed electric vehicles and A00 level electric vehicles: Low speed vehicles and A00 level electric vehicles are mainly used for short distance transportation needs in rural and urban areas. The required range is not high, and the energy density of the power battery is relatively low.

  • Energy storage: The cost of sodium-ion battery is more ideal.
