The 16th Chongqing International Battery Technology Exchange Conference/Exhibition (CIBF2024) was held at the Chongqing International Expo Center from April 27th to April 29th. This grand event featured 14 exhibition halls, 4 high-end conferences, and over 2200 exhibitors making brilliant appearances, gathering many industry experts from home and abroad. On the first day, the audience exceeded 100000 people.
Qinkual Energy showcased its “FULL TEMPERATURE ADAPTABILITY—HIGH C-RATE” differentiated product matrix at this exhibition. The debut of its PREMIUM series high-capacity energy storage battery cells attracted the attention of many customers at home and abroad, with a continuous stream of visitors at the booth.
In the face of a market situation where product routes are converging and competition is severe, Qinkual Energy has the courage to break through and aim to lead the trend of high C-rate energy storage. The PREMIUM series of high-capacity energy storage cells breaks the size stereotype of "71173" and adopts a long and thin size design. Through material system and technological innovation, it achieves 1C/1.5C high rate and 8000+long cycles, while maintaining low temperature rise and uniform surface temperature difference.
PREMIUM series battery cells support 1P system power requirements, and the capacity can reach 5MW/5MWh, significantly reducing the occupied area and the number of battery cells, lowering investment costs. It can be applied to power-requiring applications such as grid frequency regulation, peak shaving, substation energy storage, and supercharging pile storage.
On April 27, 2024, at the CIBF 2024 exhibition site, Qinkual Energy obtained the UL 9540A certification evaluation report issued by SGS, an internationally recognized testing, inspection, and certification organization.
UL 9540A is a landmark testing method for energy storage battery systems, which conducts rigorous thermal runaway fire propagation simulation testing and evaluation on the four levels of battery cells, modules, racks, and installation, and has been widely recognized and adopted by relevant authoritative departments.
